I've been watching A LOT of the coverage of the Australian Open (tennis). Since it'll be a long time before I can play racquetball again, I figure I can live a little vicariously.

Mair, I'm going to be working on a blog post today. You can also follow me on http://twitter.com/nanovak as I've been putting short updates there. I'm having complications because of how many surgeries I've had on my knee, so I have a lot of pain from a hematoma that developed in my calf (pool of blood) and associated swelling. The knee itself is actually doing very well and as expected. If I didn't have the hematoma to deal with I would be mostly independent at home by this point and would be working from home this coming week.

good luck with all the recovery. please do update as my partner is in a simialr position with surgery now booked and he is having second thoughts and wants to put it off. Its hard to find rational information. With your anticipated bed rest, perhaps you can find the time to give a true hopeful blog. best wishes

So I'm using the vbs script to do updates on my core server (I don't have a WSUS server running and don't like to run fully auto on servers), and it is awesome. The one thing I noticed though is that no matter how many times I run it there are always 2 updates it says I need. One is KB953631 I believe, the other is the Malicious Software Tool for the current month. I can keep running the update script and it says it needs to be installed everytime. I setup another core VM to test it out, and it does the same thing, so I don't think it is the system unless it is a VM only problem. Anyone know a way to install these properly or at least get it to stop detecting them? Also, if I set it to full auto updating, does that mean it will try to install those 2 updates every night?

Hey Nathan,
Have you had any problems with the stylus "skipping"? When I use the on-screen keyboard, it double-clicks keys a lot. Plus when I try to use any sketch programs, it skips when I draw a line (there's a gap in the line). Have you had any problems like that?

Hey Man,

That is awesome - must be really cool!. I dig the new messenger, but have one problem with it. When i get a new email message to my Hotmail account, and click on the popup, it doesn’t open IE and take me to hotmail. Just disappears.

Take it easy!
